The Hafiz Project – Wow
Hafiz was a great Sufi Master who lived in the 1300’s. His poems transcend time and speak to a much deeper part in all of us. I wanted to bring his poems to life visually and I was so inspired by this poem – “Wow,” that when the blizzard hit NYC this past winter 2017, I said, “Let’s go dance in this.” This is what commenced. It was freezing, but the joy it felt dancing in this was sublime.
