Life Light

The 14th video of the Online Dance Company powered by Millennium bcp, “Life Light”, represents freedom, the capacity of the human being to renew itself and gain a new breath. The overcoming of darkness and the chains that bind us, and the conquest of freedom.

A dance representation of Plato’s “Allegory of the Cave”: it is only possible to know reality when we are freed from cultural and social influences, when we leave the cave.

The new video features the dancer Liliana Garcia, winner of the 2nd edition of the program “Achas Que Sabes Dançar” (So You Think You Can Dance).  We do not reach freedom seeking freedom, but truth. Freedom is not an end, but a consequence. By Léon Tolstoi

The Online Dance Company powered by Millennium BCP is a dance company that is not limited by physical space. It lives online, although its dancers are Portuguese flesh and blood. The project was presented on May 10th by Cifrão, the mastermind behind the company whose shows are not for a few hundred people, but rather for anyone who is in front of a screen with internet connection.

Every month, a dance video is broadcasted / published which can be any kind of style such as hip hop, ballet, contemporary or salsa.
